HOW TO STORE YOUR HIGH HEELS

Your heels deserve the right care to stay beautiful, elegant and in perfect shape for as long as possible.

STORE WITH CARE

Keep them cool, dry & away from sunlight
Store your heels in a cool, dry and dark place. Direct sunlight can fade colors and may cause certain materials to dry out or lose their finish.

Let them breathe
Avoid airtight plastic bags. Instead, keep your heels in their original box or a breathable fabric dust bag.

Protect each pair individually
Store each shoe in its own dust bag, especially when it comes to patent leather or other delicate materials.

Preserve their shape
Use shoe trees or supportive inserts to help your heels maintain their original shape, particularly pointed pumps and structured styles.

Give them space
Avoid stacking shoes directly on top of one another. This can damage delicate straps, embellishments and surfaces. For particularly delicate materials, place a layer of soft tissue paper between the shoes for extra protection.

CARE BY MATERIAL

Different materials require different kinds of care. Treating your heels according to their material will help preserve their beauty and finish.

SMOOTH LEATHER

Gently remove dust and dirt with a soft cloth. From time to time, apply a suitable leather conditioner in a very thin layer to keep the leather supple and well cared for.

SUEDE

Use a soft suede brush to gently remove dust and refresh the surface. Avoid regular shoe polish, as it can alter the delicate texture and appearance of suede.

PATENT LEATHER

Wipe gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth, then polish dry with a clean, soft cloth. Avoid storing patent leather shoes pressed against each other, as the surfaces may stick together or transfer color.

SATIN & TEXTILES

Gently brush away dust or use a cleaner specifically designed for the fabric. Always test any cleaning product on a small, inconspicuous area first.

AFTER WEARING

A little care after each wear can make a big difference.

If your heels get wet
Never dry them directly on a radiator or with a hairdryer. Instead, gently stuff them with clean paper to help absorb moisture and allow them to air-dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat, which can damage or dry out the material.

HEEL TIPS & SOLE PROTECTION

If you wear your heels regularly, consider having protective heel tips and sole protectors fitted by a professional cobbler.

These protect the original sole and heel from everyday wear and should be replaced from time to time as they become worn. Regular maintenance not only keeps your heels looking their best, it can also help extend their life.
